Financial Policy
SMP Tashfia implement cross-subsidy system. With this system, about 20% of students get subsidized education cost. Priority is given to orphans, children of less wealthty families, people around the school, and children of parents who serve Islamic education and da'wah.
SMP Tashfia plan to increase its capacity so that can accommodate at least 270 students. With that number, we expect the financing will be more efficient, while the amount of shool tuition (SPP) is still affordable. SPP funds allocated for operational costs of school.
SMP Tashfia impose fees for new students. This starting fees is determined together by the school and the Foundation. School Committees is also involved in decising the fees. Even if the development/starting fees are set early, but the parents could pay in installment according to their ability. Development/starting fees are allocated to maintenance of facilities.
The cost of building facilities such as school buildings and dormitories
comes from Tashfia foundations as the operator of SMP Tashfia, both institutionally and personally fundings.
At this time, Tashfia plan productive efforts which can be a source of income for schools. Among the alternative business are: processing kitchen waste into fertilizer and the production of handicrafts (art craft, craft convection).
With this production unit, expected to:
1. Educate a productive, independent, and entrepreneurship culture.
2. Reduce education expenses paid by parents.
3. Increase the capability to subsidize students
